FoodFightsHate.org is a website about cooking and human connection. It explores the nexus of food, culture, politics and community.

American writer and researcher Melissa Gorelick conceived the site in early 2017. A UN staffer who has lived and worked around the world, she hopes the site will unite the many passionate home cooks she has met around a single radical idea: fighting the forces that divide us with the one thing that brings us all together.

The site's Kitchen Diplomacy section documents her newest project, a cross-cultural "cooking exchange" that pairs together two home chefs from different cultures to cook, eat and share stories. It includes recipes so you can make their dishes in your own kitchen.

The Recipe R&D section is devoted to Melissa's own travels, musings, recipes and kitchen trials (and errors).
